Texas Holdem Rules

Like most games, poker Texas Hold'em can be played by everyone. All that is required is that you have a fair grasp of the Texas Hold'em Rules involved. Widely considered to be one of the most popular card games, in this game, players play to win the cumulative pot by providing the best hand of the group. The hands formed by a player consist of two pocket cards which are dealt by the dealer and three community cards laid out in the board. A poker hand can therefore be formed from either or both of these separate cards.

The following are some of the common hand combinations which a player can have in poker zasady. They are listed in ascending order of superiority.

High Card: Cards described as the high cards are single cards possessing a face value that is higher than those of the other player. In the event that two players are found to be with the same high card then the second highest cards is deemed to win. When it is used as a single card, the A is found to have the highest value whilst 2 is deemed to have the lowest.

Pair: This is fairly straightforward. A person has a pair when he possesses two cards of similar ranks. E.g. - a pair of kings.

Two Pair: Again, this is just as obvious. It is used to describe a situation in poker zasady where a player has four cards consisting of two different pairs, he is said to have two pairs. For example, a person might have two kings and two eights. These cards are generally played with what is known as a kicker. In the event that two players have two pair of equal value, the value of the kicker is used as a tie breaker with the higher number winning the pot.

Three of a Kind: Playing three cards of the same rank. Another name by which this is called is a set or trips.

Straight: When a player has five cards made of different suits but possessing sequential numbering, he is said to have a straight. The lowest kind of straight is found to be, A, 2, 3, 4, 5. It is also known as the bicycle or wheel. The highest straight value however is 10, J, Q, K, A. In the event that two or more players reveal similar straight values, the game is declared a tie and the pot is split.

Flush: A flush is used to describe a hand that contains five cards of the same suit i.e. Five clubs or five diamonds. In the event that more than one player holds a flush, the person whose hand contains the highest number is considered the winner.

Full House: In poker zasady, a full house is used to describe a hand that contains three of a kind one pair, i.e. Three 4s and two 6s. In the event of a full house tie, the player with the highest three of a kind value wins. If they are found to have the same three of a kind, then the value of the pair is used in deciding the eventual winner with the highest taking the pot.

Four of a Kind: This is one of the strongest possible hands in poker zasady. Similar to three of a kind but instead involves playing four cards of similar ranks.

Straight Flush: In a straight flush, a player has five cards found in the same suit which are all formed in sequential order. For example- a 10, J, Q, K, A, all in the diamond suit.
